2035 as a result of intense terraforming the city of Washington DC was completely destroyed by a tidal wave and then the remnants of the city were submerged. The city was designated by the aquatic ones is not worth saving and was quickly destroyed during the great upheaval. The American people were extremely angry that the capital was not saved by 2046 the American population was only 1000 people who mostly lived in New York and Boston colony. The aquatic once converted the ruins of Washington DC into a city known as North Atlantic City which became the capital of the North American aquatic colonies. The city was bordered by the great North American kelp forest which was created in 2056.
